As with any blogger, I read a lot of online content! Whether it’s blogs, online magazines or (predominately) Twitter.
Recently I’ve been watching more and more videos and have been introduced to the wonderful world of BookTube. Like book bloggers, the community seems just as diverse and supportive.
I’ve been inspired by many different vloggers and I’d like to give a special mention to those who I love to watch again and again. (And YouTubers that you should follow too!)
Who doesn’t love the bubbly and positive Carrie? She’s not only a book worm, but a theatre actress, writer and Disney obsessive. All things that I adore! Her up-beat videos will have you feeling inspired and her book recommendations are brilliant too.
Lee’s just brilliant! I’ve met him a couple of times as he works at my local Waterstones and he’s so enthusiastic and unapologetic with his opinions which is exactly what the book blogging/vlogging world needs.
Although she doesn’t strictly make videos about books, when she does, they’re great. Lex is also just an overall great person to subscribe too as she’s funny, intelligent and hugely likable.
Lucy mainly blogs about YA novels which is perfect for me as it’s one of my favourite genres. She’s full of ideas and enthusiasm. She recently had author Lauren James in one of her videos so I’m looking forward seeing more interviews from her!
And last but not least…
Okay, so not strictly a YouTuber, rather a series of videos about books. Imagine Kanye West meets classic literature. It’s hilarious but don’t just take my word for it. Check it out for yourself!
